A.T.T.A.C.

The Advanced Tactical Training and Conditioning (A.T.T.A.C.) program is geared towards developing skills to experience an increase in performance and athleticism to meet the demands of duty. A.T.T.A.C. focuses on an holistic approach, teaching proper exercise form, mobility, energy system development and rehabilitative measures. 

A.T.T.A.C. TRAINING PROGRAMS OFFERED

1. UNIT SOLDIER FITNESS
is specialized Unit training capped at 25 Active Duty participants. A group initial testing is held during the first session. 

  • Sessions | Once a week for eight weeks during PRT time (5:30 to 7:30 a.m.) with 70 minute sessions. 
  • Locations | Soldier Field Sport Complex, Collier Community Fitness Center basketball courts or Zoeckler Fitness Center
  • Program Schedule | Basic fitness assessment and initial Functional Movement Screen, aerobic endurance, muscular endurance, stability and mobility, anaerobic endurance, muscular strength, power, speed, agility and TRX and Rip.
  • Requirement | Soldiers must be able to pass the ACFT or APFT for age group. 

2. GROUP RE-CONDITIONING is specialized conditioning for groups and individuals that are cleared to exercise* but are fighting nagging deficiencies, chronic conditions or cannot perform duties to their desired capability. 
*All participants must be cleared by a medical professional to participate.

  • Goal | Return to full duty and active lifestyle pain-free. 
  • Sessions | One to two times a week for six weeks with 60 minute sessions. Minimum participation of six is required.
  • Locations | Collier Community Fitness Center basketball courts and/or third floor Aerobics Room.
  • Program Schedule | Basic fitness assessment, modified aerobic endurance, modified muscular endurance, modified stability and hypertrophy, modified mobility and hypertrophy and training for individualized programming over the subsequent four weeks.
  • Requirement | All participants must be cleared by a medical professional to participate. 

3. INDIVIDUAL PHYSICAL FITNESS + BODY ALIGNMENT ASSESSMENT is an individual physical fitness and body alignment assessment offered to Soldiers and Civilians that are not under any current profiled status. These individuals may need individual attention and assistance to improve athletic performance or increase their job performance with low-risk injury factors. 

  • Goal | Improve athletic and duty-related performance by identifying and addressing individual strengths, weaknesses and discrepancies between the two. 
  • ​​​​​​​Sessions | Seventy minute initial assessment followed by a 40 minute counseling session.
  • Locations | Collier Community Fitness Center basketball courts and/or third floor Aerobics Room.
  • Program Schedule | Initial Functional Movement Screen and biomechanical assessment, gait-cycle analysis and exercise prescription. 

Timely attendance and active participation are crucial to the success of any of these A.T.T.A.C. programs in conjunction with the available and provided resources. ​​​​​​​Units or groups that compile two unexplained no shows will be immediately dropped from the program. Documentation will be provided to their chain of command. 

Registration Information

  • Participants must be Soldiers or DoD Civilians able to participate in appropriate attire, PT uniform and/or cross-training shoes (no boots unless specified) for group training. 
  • All participants must be cleared to engage in physical activity by a medical professional and provide documentation allowing participation in program. 

Units/groups must complete a registration packet available for download here. Completed registration packets must be returned to Ms. Kim, Minchong, CSCS at Collier Community Fitness Center or via email at least two weeks prior to desired start.
