K-16 Kimbap Cooking Class

K-16 Community Activity Center

This event is designed specifically for BOSS Soldiers, with a strict limit of 10 personnel (max) to ensure a high-quality, hands-on learning environment.

The program aims to provide soldiers with both practical culinary skills and a deeper appreciation for Korean culture. The session will be held at the K-16 Community Activity Center (CAC) Kitchen and will be led by a lecturer.

EVENT TIMELINE

18:00 – Arrival & Assembly: Soldiers meet at the K-16 CAC Kitchen for check-in

18:10 – Welcome Brief: Introduction of the volunteer instructors followed by a briefing on kitchen safety and hygiene protocols.

18:30 – Culinary Instruction: Hands-on Kimbap Workshop where a lecturer demonstrates traditional rolling techniques and rice seasoning while soldiers execute the steps.

19:30 – Evaluation & Presentation: An After Action Review (AAR) to discuss learned skills and a COA presentation to review future cultural and culinary events.

20:10 – Conclusion: Final kitchen clean-up and dismissal

Registration Information
Mandatory Pre-registration is mandatory due to the limited number of slots available.
Upon completing registration, each participant will be assigned a specific ingredient to bring to the class.
Attendees are encouraged to wear casual attire, and bring an apron is recommended if one is available.
