Korean Folk Painting Minhwa Workshop

Creative Engagement with the Arts

The Workshop is a creative program designed to introduce members of the military community to the traditional Korean folk art painting of "Minhwa." Participants will learn the cultural significance of tiger and magpie motifs, symbols of protection and good fortune, while creating their own unique paintings. The program also incorporates modern cultural connections, such as the symbolic imagery of Derpy and Sussie from the popular "Demon Hunters" animation, bridging traditional heritage with contemporary art.
