Mother of Pearl Craft

Creative Engagement with the Arts

This project involves the creation of a Korean mother-of-pearl accessory integrated with a wind chime.

The accessory is crafted using traditional techniques, showcasing intricate designs and cultural heritage. The wind chime (sized 9cmx15cm) is designed to produce soothing sounds when the wind blows, adding a functional and aesthetic element.

The final product is intended to be hung on the front door, serving as both a decorative piece and a gentle sound maker.

This project highlights the fusion of traditional craftsmanship with practical home decor.
