EFMP Tree Lighting Sensory Room

EFMP hosts a Christmas Sensory Room at our Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.

Sensory Alert: Tree Lighting Show (6:45 PM – 7:00 PM)

Please be advised that the Tree Lighting Show will be Very Loud and feature intense visual effects, including:

• Loud Noise
• Bright, Flashing LED Lights and Lasers
• Pyrotechnics (Loud, sudden booms and flashes)

Individuals with sensory sensitivities are cautioned against attending or being in the immediate area during this 15-minute window.

🎧 Headphone Check-Out

Noise-canceling headphones will be available for check-out before the show through ACS EFMP at the Downtown Rec Center, Conference Room 134 from 5:00 to 6:15pm.

Our sensory room offers a space to warm-up, get away from the hectic crowds, and utilize the various sensory items. This is a safe, sensory-friendly environment for individuals who may be overwhelmed by the sensory input of a large public gathering. This space allows families who typically avoid large community events, a space that they can be a part of the community while catering to the needs of their sensory sensitive family member.
