- Swim 150 meters continuously using Front Crawl/Breaststroke directly into 2 minutes of treading water without hands directly into 50-meter Front Crawl/Breaststroke.
Goggles Permitted - 20-meter swim, surface dive to a minimum depth of 7 feet to retrieve a 10-pound swim brick from the bottom. Return to starting point with object (keeping face above water and using legs only). Exit water within allotted time (skill must be completed without goggles, no exceptions)
Aquatics is offering a course for local SOFA ID cardholders to earn a certification as an American Red Cross Lifeguard. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory; certification is not guaranteed and is dependent on successful passing of in-course assessments.
