COLLIER FITNESS CENTER LEADERBOARD

HEX BAR DEADLIFT
1 REP MAX

  • Video submission must be recorded from a 3/4 viewpoint, with the individual's entire body and hex bar visible, including weights; loaded.
  • Attempts must show control on the descent past the knees.
  • Loaded weights should be clearly visible within video during entire lift or loaded weights recorded immediately following the lift on the unedited video.
  • Hex bar collars must be on the bar and clearly visible, or the attempt will not count.
  • Hex bar should begin from the ground, level with the lifter.
  • Hips and knees should be extended at the top of the attempt, with shoulders in line with the hips.

JACOB'S LADDER: Hiking Namsan Mountain 859ft

  • Set strap to your height to control brake and speed.
  • Fasten waist belt and climb (must be strapped in) until you complete 859 feet as quickly as you can.
  • When you stop your climb, the screen will reset.
    • Be prepared to take your submission photo or have a buddy assist!
    • The photo submission should include the entirety of the screen, clearly showing Elapsed Time and Distance in Feet.

PULL UPs
MAX CONSECUTIVE SET

  • Video submissions must be recorded from a viewpoint where the individual's chin can be clearly seen passing the plane of the bar and showing legs hanging freely at the bottom.

  • Submission must be double overhanded strict pull ups.

  • The individual's chin must clearly pass over the plane of the bar, without assistance or kipping.

  • Only consecutive reps will be counted. Hanging from the rig without resting or assisting the feet or body, constitutes continuation of the set. Coming down off the bar or releasing the hands also ends the set. If there is a missed or failed rep within the submitted set, any subsequent successful repetitions meeting the full range of motion standards will be counted so long as the individual remains on the bar free of assistance.

ROWING
2K TIME TRIAL

  • Rowing with the damper (flywheel) set between 5 and 10.

  • Press MENU > SELECT WORKOUT > NEW WORKOUT > SINGLE DISTANCE > set distance to 2000 meter using arrows to move left and right and lus or minus kets to set distance.

  • Press the check mark at the bottom right when ready.

  • The time trial will automatically begin with the first stroke.

  • Submit a photo of the screen clearly showing distance rowed and the time of completion.

  • Submissions with ghost meters or submissions not completed on the above time trial settings, will not be accepted.

ZOECKLER LEADERBOARD

5K TREADMILL
INDOOR 5K

  • Individuals may use any treadmill of choice for submission.

  • Submissions must include general make and model of treadmill used for (for example: Life Fitness motorized, True Form non-motorized)

  • Submit a photo of the screen clearly showing the distance of 5000 meters covered and the time of completion.

5K LAND/OUTDOOR
OUTDOOR 5K

  • Outdoor 5Ks must be tracked using personal GPS devices or running apps.

  • Submit a screen shot of summary of run, clearly showing distance of 5000 meters covered and the time of completion.

  • The route is entirely up to the individual.

OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING

SNATCH

  • Power, split and squat snatches are all acceptable.

  • The bar must begin on the ground, level with the individual. Barbell collars are mandatory for the attempt to be considered.

  • The bar must move from the ground to overhead in one fluid movement. A deadlift followed by a hang snatch of any kind will not be accepted.

  • The movement must end with the bar clearly in control, with the individual’s arms, hips and knees in line and extended.

  • For the purposes of this submission format, elbow press outs will not be accepted.

  • Videos should be submitted from a ¾ viewpoint, clearly showing the individual, bar and weights loaded in their entirety throughout the lift. If the individual steps out into control at the top of the lift, it will be accepted, so long as the lifter, bar and weights loaded remain in the video throughout.

  • Edited videos will not be accepted.

  • If weights loaded are unclear, the video submission should include:

    • Showing weights loaded on the bar, after the attempt.

  • Submissions using straps around the bar will not be accepted.

CLEAN & JERK

  • Power, split and squat cleans are all acceptable. Strict, Push Press, Power Jerk, Split Jerk and Squat Jerks are all acceptable.

  • The bar must begin on the ground, level with the individual. Barbell collars are mandatory for the attempt to be considered.

  • The bar must move from the ground to the shoulders in one fluid movement. A deadlift followed by a hang clean of any kind will not be accepted. From the shoulders, the barbell must be taken overhead, however the barbell must distinctly pause at the shoulders first (unlike the Snatch).

  • The movement must end with the bar overhead, clearly in control, with the individual’s arms, hips and knees in line and extended.

  • For the purposes of this submission format, elbow press outs will be accepted for jerks/presses.

  • Videos should be submitted from a ¾ viewpoint, clearly showing the individual, bar and weights loaded in their entirety throughout the lift. If the individual steps forward into control at the top of the lift, it will be accepted, so long as the lifter, bar and weights loaded remain in the video throughout.

  • Edited videos will not be accepted.

  • If weights loaded are unclear, the video submission should include showing weights loaded on the bar, immediately after the attempt.

  • Submissions using straps around the bar will not be accepted.

OLY TOTAL

  • Individuals that submit both SNATCH and CLEAN successful attempts, will automatically be entered for the OLY Total category.
    Both successful attempts must be made on the same and within a 3-hour window.

  • Individuals may choose to submit for only the SNATCH or CLEAN & JERK category, as single category submissions do not need to be completed with a 3-hour window.

SITMAN LEADERBOARD

1000lb CLUB / 700lb CLUB

  • To qualify, participants must submit videos of successful repetitions in conventional barbell deadlift, bench press and back squat. The successful single repetitions of each should sum 1000+lbs for male or female participants or 700+ for females.

  • Attempts in all three must be made in the same day, within a 3-hour window.

  • Traditionally, the back squat is performed first, followed by bench then deadlift, however participants may attempt lifts in any order they choose, so long as the attempts are made within a 3-hour window.

  • Safety bars and/or spotters are strongly encouraged for near maximum or maximum attempts. Individuals participate at their own risk. If a single lift is failed three times, participants are strongly encouraged to stop and re-attempt another day.

  • All three lifts submitted must be successful lifts performed within a
    3-hour window for consideration.

  • Barbell collars are mandatory on all three lifts or the attempts will not be valid.

Participants may use belts, knee sleeves, wrist wraps, lifters, etc.

  • RESTRICTED ACCESSORIES
    Supportive Gear offering the lifter an advantage as defined by USAPL Equipped Powerlifting guidelines will not be accepted for consideration:

    • Supportive Singlets

    • Bench Shirts

    • Knee Wraps

Fitness Center Dress Codes should be adhered to at all times.

  • Proper fitness footwear:

    • Close-toed, Closed-heeled, or Rubber-soled Shoes

    • Powerlifting moccasins are acceptable as they are in accordance with the aforementioned.

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS
Recorded from a ¾ viewpoint, with the individual’s entire body, barbell, loaded weights and full movement of the lift visible.

  • Loaded weights should be clearly visible within the entire duration of video; unedited.

  • Lift or loaded weights recorded immediately following the lift on the unedited video.

  • The use of a 35 or 45lb bar should be noted verbally or visibly via the video submission.

BACK SQUAT

  • Attempts should begin with hips and knees fully extended, with individual motionless and erect.

  • At the bottom of the squat, the crease of the lifter’s hips should clearly pass below the top of the knee, otherwise known as breaking parallel. The lifter’s femur should move past parallel with the floor.

  • Hips and knees should be fully extended at the top of the attempt, with the barbell clearly in control at standing.

BENCH

  • Lifters may receive assistance removing the bar from the lifting rack, however the attempt should start clearly unassisted and untouched by spotter or other individuals.
    Ensure the bar does not begin descending until clear from assistance.

  • The lifters head, shoulders and glutes should remain in contact with the bench at all times during the attempt. Feet must remain in contact with the floor at all times throughout the lift.

  • Submissions should use a “thumbs around” grip. Any other grip, ie. thumbs on the same side of the bar as the rest of the fingers, will not be considered and will be cause for immediate disqualification.

  • At the bottom of the lift, the bar must lower to the chest or abdominal area, making contact below the clavicle (bar may not touch below the abdominal area). The bar may not touch anything such as a weightlifting belt that would shorten the range of motion for the lifter, ie. add additional material between lifter or bar to decrease the range of motion or cause advantage.

  • The lifter must then return the bar to a finished position of extended elbows or straight arms. The bar must clearly be held motionless in this position before returning to the rack. Bench presses that move through extension backwards into the rack, not showing clear control at the extended position, will be disqualified. Lifters may receive assistance with re-racking the bar, so long as the extended finish position is clearly displayed before the bar is touched by another individual.

DEADLIFT

  • The barbell should begin from the ground, horizontally in front of the lifter, level with the lifter’s feet.
    Elevation of any kind is not permitted for the purposes of this leaderboard submission.

  • Any grip is acceptable, so long as the bar is held within both hands. Sumo or conventional deadlifts are acceptable.

  • Hips and knees should be extended at the top of the attempt, with shoulders clearly behind the barbell.

  • Any support of the barbell on the thighs on the upwards motion of the attempt will be disqualified. Hitching or continuous movement is acceptable, so long as the barbell is not supported by the thighs.

  • Control of the barbell past the knees on the descent is not required, however lifters must clearly show control at full extension or standing, prior to releasing the barbell.
