Ages: 11-18 years old

The Youth Programs offers comprehensive, supervised program options and affordable, quality, predictable services that are easily accessible for eligible youth in Grades 6 through 12. 

OVERVIEW

The Youth Program offers youth opportunities in life skills, citizenship/leadership, leisure, recreation, arts, mentoring, intervention and support services. Through formal partnerships agreements with nationally-recognized youth-serving organizations, such as United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), 4-H and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, youth have access to programs, standard curricula, special events, camps, scholarships, etc., no matter where they live. Supervision and programming is provided by trained staff and operations are subjected to DoD Certification.

The Youth Center is open after school and during school closures and summer. Specialty camps and trips are held throughout the year.

CYS registration is required for the Youth Center. Contact Parent Central Services, to register your youth today.

CYS Training Days and Mission Related Duty Child Care Days (2024 Closures)

Child and Youth Services allows for program closures in an effort to support unit mission requirements and training. All CYS facilities will be closed on the following days:

  • Friday, May 24, 2024
  • Friday, August 30, 2024

CYS will require a Mission Related Duty Child Care Form for the following training holidays:

  • Friday, July 5, 2024
  • Friday, November 29, 2024
YOUTH TECHNOLOGY LAB (YTL)

Provides a safe, secure and age appropriate place where youth can engage in various activities, programs, and trips; all of which are key to involving youth with our five core programming areas of 1) Character & Leadership Development, 2) Education Support & Career Development, 3)Health, Wellness & Life Skills, 4) Sports, Fitness & Recreation, and 5) The Arts.

KEYSTONE CLUB AND TORCH CLUB

 

Keystone Club

A leadership program for youth in Grades 9 thorugh 12 that meets weekly throughout the school year.

Torch Club

A junior leadership program for youth in Grades 6 through 8 that meets weeks throughout the school year. For more information about getting involved in either club please contact the Youth Center.
