Cultural Engagement With The Arts

Made possible by Army MWR, the Humphreys Arts & Crafts will be hosting free art classes featuring traditional Korean art techniques, trending rug & tufting projects, and decorative floral arrangements.

 

1 February to 13 September
11:30am-3:30pm SUNDAYS
Register at the art center at least one day before the scheduled workshop.
Maximum Participation of 10 Students per Workshop

Draft a design, grab a tufting gun, some spools of colored yarn, and start crafting your own tufted piece.

This workshop will show you tufting techniques to create tufting projects big and small.

12 February to 10 September
11:30am-3:30pm | 2nd & 4th Thursdays
Register at the art center at least one day before the scheduled workshop.

Learn about Demon Hunter's Derpy and Sussie's cultural significance through "Minhwa" Korea's traditional folk art painting.

This workshop bridges traditional heritage with contemporary art using the tiger and magpie which symbolizes protection and good fortune as inspiration.

Design indoor gardens with plants and decorative elements to liven up your space.
